Oil and Vinegar Salad Dressing/ Lemon Vinaigrette

Healthy FOOD SPIRAL®: 1G

Carb Counting FOOD SPIRAL®: 0G

Low Sodium FOOD SPIRAL®: 0G

Renal and Renal Diabetes FOOD SPIRAL®: OG

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Wine Vinegar

  • 3/2 cups Canola, Olive Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1/4 to 1/2 t. Unsalted Seasonings- may use salt or salt seasonings if Healthy, Diabetes, or Carb Counting.

  • Black or Red Pepper, Chives and Other Spices to taste

 

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a jar or salad cruet and shake well to mix.

  2. Refrigerate for storage.

  3. To serve, bring to room temperature and shake well.

  4. Add to Salad.

 

This recipe makes 16 Servings (2 T. = 1 Serving).

 

Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 2 Large Lemons (1/2 cup Lemon Juice) using fresh Lemons (juice, pulp, and peel)

  • 1 cup Canola, Olive Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1/4 to 1/2 t. Sea Salt or Table Salt- do not use if Low Sodium, Renal or Renal Diabetes.

  • Seasoning: Black or Red Pepper, Cumin and Chili Powder

 

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a jar or salad cruet and shake well to mix.

  2. Refrigerate for storage.

  3. To serve, bring to room temperature and shake well.

  4. Add to Salad. 

 

This recipe makes 12 Servings (2 T. = 1 Serving).
