Macaroni & Cheese - Lactose Free

1 cup uncooked macaroni

1/4 cup butter, lactose free

3 T. self-rising flour, sifted

3 cups Lactaid ® Milk

3 cups cheese, shredded (mild American or any cheeses of choice) Go Veggie®


Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain. In a saucepan melt butter over medium heat and add flour to make a roux. Add Lactaid milk slowly and stirring constantly until thick add cheese and cook over low heat until the cheese is melted. In a large bowl add macaroni and pour cheese sauce over and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 35 minutes.
