Four years ago, I became a registered and licensed dietitian. As I began my career, I also began road races and triathlons. I began by completing a marathon. At that point, I thought it would be over. I finished with a pretty good time and realized that was only the beginning.
Since then I have run seven more marathons and transitioned to triathlons. I have raced seven half Ironman Distance Triathlons and completed my first full Ironman Distance Triathlon. This included a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile run. My overall time was 10:19:32. I will be completing this same race again this year with hopes of qualifying for the world championships.
I take fitness very seriously. I currently train 50 miles/week running, 200 miles/week cycling and 6 hours/week swimming. Fitness and nutrition have become an important part of my life. I plan to use my knowledge to help others meet their fitness goals.
